Have a Great Weekend Interns!

Hello Everyone ~

For next week 1/11/12:

Turn in ALL time sheet(s). I must have a new one for each week. Do not combine weeks on the same time sheet.

I will be looking at your training plan draft Wednesday and return it right back to you so you can continue working on it. Do a final review this with your supervisor or someone at site that can assist in listing new tasks to observe, perform under supervision or perform alone (remember your scope of practice!)

JOURNAL ENTRIES: Journal your activities, including these prompts regardring Office Maintenance and Management: Equipment maintenance, security measures, safety habits that prevent injury, procedure manual, inventory and ordering supplies, reviewing packing slips, staff meetings, recycling and shredding. BE PREPARED to discuss one or more of these when we share our experiences with class.

FHS and AVHS: I have not heard from all of you...once you have completed all regular and holiday hours, PLEASE text me with days and hours you volunteered at your site between December 19 and January 6. Don't forget to identify yourself on the text.

FHS and AVHS -Please send me a separate text with the hours for December 12th - 16th. Don't forget to identify yourself on the text. Another option is to email or call with this information to (925) 606-4800 x 3640 or email lerceg@lvjusd.k12.ca.us

KAISER volunteers from PUSD: Please total your hours for DECEMBER 2011 and report that to me on 1/11/12. Thank you.

Evaluations and Training Plans are due Wednesday, JAN 18th. Work with your staff and/or supervisor at your site.

Remember...you are doing great. After only a month or so, many have you have mastered numerous skills at your site. Prepare to stay strong, keep learning and finish strong!
